Heidi Swanson's work with first graders at Wyoming School
Mrs. Giordano's first grade class at Wyoming School in Millburn,
NJ created an Earth Day Quilt. With the help of Mrs. Heidi Swanson,
a quilter and first grade mom, the children used fabric crayons to design
their individual blocks. Each block had an "Earth Day" theme and
the fabric used to make the quilt was recycled. We had a lot of fun
designing and putting together our quilt. We are all very proud of
it and what it stands for - Remember, we are all the Earth's friends.
